Tom Panaccio of CSNPhilly: The Philadelphia Flyers and Jeff Carter agreed today on an 11 year contract worth $58 million. That is an average salary cap hit of $5.2727 million.
A press conference is scheduled for 6 pm.
The Flyers now have $1.73 million in projected cap space, and they still hope to Ville Leino re-signed. They will still need to trade away some salary by the start of next season.
