- Pierre LeBrun of ESPN: Sources told LeBrun that Montreal Canadiens GM Pierre Gauthier is calling teams looking for a defenseman. The Tampa Bay Lighting and New York Rangers are also looking for a defensive help. Though he’s not sure if the 3 teams noted above are interested, but Cody Franson of the Maple Leafs is available.
