- Chip Alexander: Hurricanes GM Jim Rutherford said that Elias Lindholm is in Raleigh and could play on Thursday against Toronto.

- Michael Russo: The Wild return Matt Dumba to Portland of the WHL for the remainder of the season.
- Tom Gulitti: Devils Martin Brodeur will wear all-white pads to “look bigger” in the net, and that it will be harder to see open spots.
