- Jon Rosen: (Re: Outdoor game at Dodgers Stadium) Ticket prices dropping in some sections. Some $249 tickets have dropped to $189/$199, with people to be refunded the difference.
- Bob Stauffer: With the Oilers having back-to-back games, likely that Horak/Marincin are called up for insurance purposes. Ryan Jones is now listed on the IR. It’s possible that Mark Arcobello (ribs) and Philip Larsen (illness) are not ready yet.
- Dave Molinari: The Penguins have recalled Harry Zolnierczyk from the AHL.
- George Richards of the Miami Herald: The Panthers have activated Tim Thomas from the IR. Jacob Markstrom and Alex Petrovic have been sent to the AHL. Jesse Winchester had his cast removed from his hand, but will still be out for a few more games.
- Jets NHL: The Jets have recalled Julian Melchiori from the AHL and put Grant Clitsome on the IR retroactive to Dec. 17th.
