- Mike Halford of Pro Hockey Talk: From a Sportsnet report, Daniel and Henrik Sedin’s agent, JP Barry, will be meeting with Canucks GM Mike Gillis. Henrik said there is no timetable for a decision. Both are entering the final season of their contracts.
“I’m sure we’re going to talk before training camp and see where we are,” Henrik explained. “For us there’s no rush, I mean, if things can get done we’re more than happy but if not we’re happy to wait.”

“No, he has not filed his retirement papers as of this date,” Feaster said. “As I’ve said consistently since the end of the season, all indications he has given us suggest he will not be returning for the 2013-14 season.”
