- Dennis Bernstein: The Kings are now looking for options at left wing for their second line. Matt Frattin and Tyler Toffoli haven’t worked out. Bernstein doesn’t think they are close to a deal. Notes that they had eight defenseman on the ice yesterday morning, something has to give.
- Darren Dreger: Daniel Alfredsson presented the Senators a 2 year offer at $6 million a season. The Senators last offer was one-year at $4.5 million.
- Roger Millions: Flames GM Jay Feater said there have been talks with other teams about possible trades. Teams looking for vets with workable contracts, and Millions thinks it’s more that teams are calling them and not the Flames calling teams. Feaster added that US Thanksgiving is more likely when you see players being traded, still a little too early.
