- Craig Custance: (mailbag) When asked about what the Ducks would do with their surplus of goalies … They would send one of their goalies for a defenseman in a perfect world. Teams that may need a goalie are not deep on the blueline. Teams that may be looking for a goalie would prefer to send prospects and picks. Custance thinks the Ducks should be patient. Teams like the Blues or Penguins may want to shore up between the pipes later on in the season. An injury may hit another team.
