Miller leaves in the third

Eric Stephens:  Anaheim Ducks goaltender Ryan Miller left in the third period after a collision with teammate Josh Mahura. Mahura crashed into his left leg.

Raanta could be done for the season

Craig Morgan: Arizona Coyotes GM John Chayka said that goaltender Antti Raanta had a procedure done and the damage to the injured area was more extensive than they had originally thought. He could potentially miss the remainder of the season. They are listing him out indefinitely for now.

Flames real tight to the cap

Cap Friendly: After the Calgary Flames recalled forward Alan Quine and defenseman Rinat Valiev on the weekend, they have only $6,808 in projected salary cap space. 17.7 percent of their salary cap – $14,044,166 – is on the IR with four players injured.

McElhinney injured

Michael Smith: Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Curtis McElhinney has a lower-body injury and the team has recalled goaltender Scott Darling.

Anisimov goes in concussion protocol

Eric Lear: Chicago Blackhawks forward Artem Anisimov was in concussion protocol after taking a hit from Montreal Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber.

Stastny getting close

David Schoen: Vegas Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant on injured forward Paul Stastny: “He’s getting real close. Don’t be surprised to see him early next week.”

Hyman gets two games 

The NHL has suspended Toronto Maple Leafs forward Zach Hyman for two games for interference on Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy.
