Two Bruins defensemen probable for this weekend
Conor Ryan: Boston Bruins coach Bruce Cassidy said that defenseman Matt Grzelcyk and Kevan Miller are “probable” for this weekend.
Defenseman John Moore is “week-to-week” with an upper-body injury.
Bennett close to returning
Wes Gilbertson: Calgary Flames forward Sam Bennett wasn’t able to play last night but it’s possible that he returns on Friday.
Zuccarello still waiting for clearance … Bishop out day-to-day
Matthew DeFranks: Tuesday was four weeks since Mats Zuccarello had his surgery. Dallas Stars coach Jim Montgomery on how Zuccarello is progressing: “Well, not enough battle drills to know exactly. We’re still waiting on some medical clearance from our doctors.”
Mark Stepneski: Stars goaltender Ben Bishop left last night’s game and is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body injury according to coach Montgomery.
Justin Dowling suffered an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day.

Sean Shapiro: Landon Bow will be recalled to backup Anton Khudobin. Jake Oettinger’s contract doesn’t kick in until next season so he’s not an option.
Rasmussen could get shut down
Ted Kulfan: Detroit Red Wings coach Jeff Blashill said that Michael Rasmussen could be shut down for the rest of the season.
Forward Thomas Vanek will be out for at least a couple games.

Larry Brooks: New York Rangers forward Chris Kreider is feeling “better” and is targeting to return tomorrow.
Pavelski could return … No setback for Karlsson

Coach Pete DeBoer said that defenseman Erik Karlsson didn’t suffer any type of setback.

Byfuglien isn’t ruled out for the weekend
Ken Wiebe: Winnipeg defenseman Dustin Byfuglien wore a regular jersey at practice.
Ken Wiebe: Winnipeg Jets coach Paul Maurice said that Byfuglien is progressing but is not ready for tonight. Byfuglien hasn’t been ruled out for Saturday’s game.
Goaltender Laurent Brossoit isn’t ready for tonight either.
