Beagle has a fractured forearm

Bob McKenzie: Vancouver Canucks forward Jay Beagle has returned to Vancouver. He’ll be out for four to six weeks with a fractured forearm.

Pettersson out at least seven to 10 days

Bob McKenzie: Vancouver Canucks forward Elias Pettersson will be out seven to 10 days with a concussion. He could be out longer, all depends on the symptoms.

Hamonic back on the ice

Pat Steinberg: Calgary Flames defenseman Travis Hamonic is still recovering from his facial fracture but was able to skate before practice yesterday.

Galchenyuk skating

Matt Layman: Arizona Coyotes forward Alex Galchenyuk (lower-body) skated yesterday in a no-contact jersey.

Stastny out for at least two months

David Schoen: Vegas Golden Knights coach Gerald Gallant updates: Brad Hunt will draw in for Deryk Engelland (day-to-day) on Tuesday. Paul Stastny could be out for up to two months. Alex Tuch will be re-evaluated after their next two games.

Bob McKenzie: There are some that think Paul Stastny’s knee injury could keep him out two- to three months.

Schultz out four months

Pittsburgh Penguins: Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz had surgery on Sunday to a repair a lower leg fracture.

Schultz is expected to be out for the four next months.

Andersen day-to-day but should able to go on Thursday

Luke Fox: Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Frederik Andersen missed last night’s game and is day-to-day with an injury. Andersen took part in their full practice yesterday.

Paul Hendrick: Coach Mike Babcock said that Andersen will start on Thursday.

Michael Augello: Coach Babcock said that they were aware of Andersen’s knee issue before they had their morning skate yesterday and it’s not an issue that happened during practice.
