On the New Jersey Devils …

  • Tom Gulitti of the Recond: The Devils announced that goalie Cory Schneider will be out at least two weeks with a Grade 1 medial collateral ligament sprain in his right knee. Rest and rehab is the usually recovery, as most sprains don’t require surgery.

On the New York Rangers …

  • Steve Zipay of Newsday: Henrik Lundqvist has missed the past two games with neck spasms, but could be ready to go tomorrow.

“He’s feeling better, still not 100 percent, but is on the right track,” Rangers coach Alain Vig neault said. “There’s still some pain in the neck, still day-to-day. His movements still aren’t fully fluid, so it’ll take a day or two.”

Rick Nash has been out with a leg injury since January 22nd. He could be ready to return to practice soon, and could be lined up with Eric Staal. Nash skated on his own on Saturday.

Marc Staal missed their last game due to back spasms.

On the Detroit Red Wings …

  • Ansar Khan: Coach Jeff Blashill is unsure if Pavel Datsyuk will be able to play on Tuesday. He has the flu.

On the Tampa Bay Lightning …

  • Bryan Burns: Defenseman Braydon Coburn is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

On the Toronto Maple Leafs …

  • Kevin McGrann of the Toronto Star: Milan Michalek is set to make his Maple Leafs debut tonight against the Sabres.

“I’m ready to go,” Michalek said. “I’ve been excited for a long time to get into a game with my new team and get scoring. I’ve skated hard. I should be okay. We will see how my hands are.”

It will be his first game since breaking his finger on January 27th.

P.A. Parenteau hopes to be able to return by Wednesday. He’s been bothered by a sore neck. He isn’t sure if his sore neck prevented the Leafs from trading him at the deadline.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

  • Lisa Dillman of LA Times: Kris Versteeg left their game against the Ducks on Saturday after the first period for “precautionary” reasons. He did practice yesterday.

On the Dallas Stars …

  • Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News: Stars defenseman John Klingberg didn’t travel with the team after suffering a lower-body injury on Friday.

On the Buffalo Sabres …

  • Joe Yerdon: The Sabres are being careful with Tyler Ennis and his concussion. He is skating now.
