Getzlaf skates briefly

Elliott Teaford of the OC Register: Anaheim Ducks center briefly Ryan Getzlaf skated yesterday for the first time since his groin injury back on Oct. 6th. He’s in the day-to-day range and not week-to-week.

Elliott Teaford: Ducks forward Carter Rowney suffered an upper-body injury last night.

Price out with the flu

John Lu: Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price missed last night’s game with the flu.

Weber skates again

Renaud Lavoie: Canadiens defenseman Shea Weber skated for 30 minutes yesterday morning.

Patrick out with an upper-body injury

Adam Kimelman: Philadelphia Flyers forward Nolan Patrick is out seven to 10 days with an upper-body injury.

Islanders put one the IR and remove one

Shannon Hogan: New York Islanders forward Casey Cizikas was put on the IR with a lower-body injury.

Andy Graziano: The Islanders have activated forward Andrew Ladd from the IR.

Schultz helped off with a left ankle injury

Jason Mackey: Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Justin Schultz had to be helped off with a left ankle injury.

Pens Inside Scoop: Penguins coach Mike Sullivan didn’t have an update on Schultz after the game. Sullivan said that Schultz will be re-evaluated back in Pittsburgh.

Beagle might have a broken bone

Iain MacIntyre: Hearing that Vancouver Canucks forward Jay Beagle could have a broken bone in his hand or wrist after blocking a Mike Hoffman shot. Nothing has been confirmed.

Rookie Pettersson leaves early

Vancouver Canucks: Canucks coach Travis Green didn’t have an update on Elias Pettersson or Beagle after the game.

Iain MacIntyre: Saw Pettersson after the game walking around without any bandages or wrapped in ice. Would guess that it might be a head injury, no updates given.
