Chip Alexander: Carolina Hurricanes forward Micheal Ferland likely won’t be ready for Game 3 but could be a maybe for Game 4.
Michael Smith: Hurricanes forwards Andrei Svechnikov (concussion protocol) and Michael Ferland (upper-body) were both on the ice yesterday.
Tom Gulitti: Hurricanes goaltender Petr Mrazek won’t play in Game 3 tonight but hasn’t been ruled for Game 4 on Friday.
Michael Smith: Hurricanes coach Rod Brind’Amour on Ferland: “When he’s ready to go, he’ll go.”
Svechnikov is in the same situation as Ferland.
Despite not practicing yesterday Jordan Martinook is a possibility for tonight.
Calvert out after Burns hit
Rick Sadowski: Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Calvert missed last night’s game after taking a big hit from Brent Burns at the end of Sunday’s game.

Clutterbuck is still day-to-day
Brett Cyrgalis: New York Islanders coach Barry Trotz said that Cal Clutterbuck is traveling with the team and is calling him day-to-day.
