John Shannon: Was told that Johnny Gaudreau‘s surgery went well yesterday. They are still unsure of the time frame. They should know more in the few days.
Elliotte Friedman: Initial talk is that Gaudreau will be out for four to six weeks. The Flames will have an official timeline in the next few days.

Eric Francis: Coach Glen Gulutzan is preparing that Gaudreau will be out for six weeks, but they won’t know the timeline exactly until after the surgery.

Jon Rosen: Anze Kopitar was told that as long as he could tolerate the pain, he could play without worsening his injury.
Jon Rosen: Kopitar skated yesterday and is progressing. Don’t expect him to be in the lineup tonight.
Curtis Zupke: Kopitar isn’t ready yet and is still day-to-day. Marian Gaborik said he’s on track for a December return from his broken foot.
Jon Rosen: Andy Andreoff had surgery on this thumb and hopes to get clearance to return next week.

Adam Vingan of the Tennessean: Goaltender Pekka Rinne missed Tuesday’s game against the Maple Leafs with a lower-body injury. He practiced yesterday and is hopeful for tonight.
“I feel good,” Rinne said. “No problems. It was good to get on the ice just to prepare myself for tomorrow. I haven’t got the nod yet, but felt good. I’m ready to go.”
