Kings down two goaltenders

NHL.com: Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jack Campbell will be out for four to six weeks after tearing his meniscus on Saturday. The Kings have recalled goaltender Calvin Peterson.

Jon Rosen: Kings goaltending Bill Ranford said that they will meet with doctors after tonight’s game and see if Jonathan Quick will be able to start skating this week.

Curtis Zupke: Kings GM Rob Blake said that Quick is still on track. He had surgery on Oct. 30th and was expected to be out for a month.

Jon Rosen: Kings coach Willie Desjardins on Quick who is two weeks into a three or four- to six-week timetable: “For sure he’s getting closer. His progress has been good. I’m not sure when we’ll get him on the ice, but he’s not that far away. But just because Jack gets hurt doesn’t change anything with his timetable.”

Kase returns but Ducks without Eaves

Eric Stephens: Anaheim Ducks forward Ondrej Kase returned to the lineup last night after missing the first 18 games of the season with a concussion.

Eric Stephens: Ducks forward Patrick Eaves missed last night’s game with an upper-body injury and is day-to-day. The Ducks recalled Kalle Kossila and re-assigned Isac Lundestrom.

Arvidsson back to the IR

Adam Vingan: Nashville Predators forward Viktor Arvidsson was placed on the IR with an upper-body injury. He left Saturday’s game in the third period flexing his left hand. Arvidsson had just been activated from the IR on Saturday.

Stralman hopeful for their road trip

Joe Smith: Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Anton Stralman didn’t play on Saturday and didn’t practice yesterday. They are hopeful that he will be able to return during their four-game road trip.

Matthews skates

Chris Johnston: Towards the end of the Toronto Maple Leafs practice yesterday, injured forward Auston Matthews took to the ice.

Weber timetable still the same
