On the Dallas Stars …

On the St. Louis Blues …
- Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Goalie Brian Elliott could return to the Blues lineup for tomorrow’s game against the Canucks. Elliott was put on the LTIR on February 24th with a knee injury. He is eligible to come off the LTIR at any time now.
“My goal was to come back when the IR date was going to expire, and I worked towards that,” Elliott said. “Obviously we have to give it the last talk. We’ll talk with the coaches, trainers and management and go from there.”
Alex Steen has missed the past 11 games with a shoulder injury. He is still having troubles shooting the puck.
“Obviously with time, it’s going to heal on its own,” Steen said. “Like I said before, I feel like it’s a slow process. It’s just not good enough right now. This is going to take the time that it takes. They’re long days right now.”
Steen said it would be optimal if he could get into some games before the playoffs start, but isn’t overly concerned or stressed about it.
Steve Ott has been out since early December with torn hamstrings.
“It’s a process, especially for me because we don’t really have a real timeline we’re working with,” Ott said. “It’s more a feel. Good days, bad days, but a lot more good days than bad days. That’s kind of where we’re at right now.”
