Lance Lysowski of the Buffalo News: Sabres coach Ralph Krueger after the game on Dahlin.

“Ramus Dahlin has a concussion and very disappointing,” coach Ralph Krueger informed reporters following the loss. “We’ll let the league deal with the judgment of what happened. Right now, we’re just worried about Rasmus and getting him healthy and hoping it’s not a long-term injury.”

Ryan S. Clark: Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog was meeting with doctors yesterday.

Forward Colin Wilson is not close to returning to the lineup.

Forward Matt Calvert is still in concussion protocol.

Forward Mikko Rantanen had a good first team practice yesterday.

Ryan S. Clark: Avs coach Jared Bednar said that if Mikko Rantanen has another good practice and feels okay, he could play on Wednesday.

Jon Rosen: Los Angeles Kings coach Todd McLellan on Alec Martinez : “Marty took a skate into that arm area and got stepped on, and he’s going to be evaluated later on tonight, and we’ll have more for you tomorrow. It’s obviously not a good situation, but it’s all I can really give you right now. If I had any more, I’d share it with you.”

  • Lisa Dillman: Kings GM Rob Blake said that Martinez will be evaluated at the hospital.

Sam Carchidi: Philadelphia Flyers forward Nolan Patrick was on the ice before practice yesterday.

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks forward Tomas Hertl missed last night’s game.
