NHL injury updates
Eric Stephens: Anaheim Ducks defenseman Brendan Guhle is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
Tracey Myers: Chicago Blackhawks coach Jeremy Colliton said that defenseman Calvin de Haan could return to the lineup today. Not finalized yet.
Charlie Roumeliotis: Colliton said that they are still ramping up forward Kirby Dach. Don’t expect him to be in the lineup just yet.
Jeff Svoboda: The Columbus Blue Jackets have placed forward Josh Anderson the IR with an upper-body injury. He’s considered to be day-to-day. The Blue Jackets recalled Markus Hannikainen.
- Mark Scheig: Anderson is on the IR retroactive to October 5th.
Mike Heika: Dallas Stars forward Jason Dickinson missed the past four games with an upper-body injury but should be ready to go.
Mike Heika: Stars forward Perry skated again yesterday. Coach Jim Montgomery said on Thursday that Perry should return at some point during their four-game road trip.
Ansar Khan: The Detroit Red Wings are hopeful that Filip Hronek will be able to go today, but coach Jeff Blashill said they don’t know for sure yet.
Bryan Burns: Tampa Bay Lightning forward Cedric Paquette practice yesterday in a no-contact jersey.
Lance Hornby: Toronto Maple Leafs coach Mike Babcock said earlier this week that forward Zach Hyman and defenseman Travis Dermott would be practicing in a no-contact jersey for awhile.
Hyman could be a few games away from returning.
