Eric Stephens: Anaheim Ducks defenseman Josh Manson (lower-body) and forward Ondrej Kase (upper-body) left last night’s game early.
O.C. Register: Ducks defenseman Brendan Guhle returned to the lineup last night.
Sabres PR: Buffalo Sabres forward Jimmy Vesey left last night’s game early.
Jameson Olive: Florida Panthers coach Joel Quenneville said that defenseman Mike Matheson will be out 10-14 days and forward Vincent Trocheck is day-to-day.
Paul Skrbina of the Tennessean: Nashville Predators forward Matt Duchene didn’t return for the third period last night due to a lower-body injury.
Coach Peter Laviolette didn’t have an update after the game. During his last shift of the game in the second, there didn’t appear to be anything that caused him to leave the game.
Filip Forsberg missed his fourth consecutive game last night.
Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia: Philadelphia Flyers forward Michael Raffl left last night’s game in the third period after blocking a shot. He wasn’t able to put much weight on his right leg.
Jeremy Rutherford: St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko left last night’s game with an upper-body injury.
STL Blues News: Blues forward Samuel Blais missed last night’s game with a thumb injury.
Jim Thomas: The Blues loaned Jordan Kyrou to the AHL to continue his rehab (kneecap surgery from last spring). They hope he’s able to start playing within the next 10 to 14 days.
Mark Masters: Toronto Maple Leafs forward John Tavares on his broken finger: “The positive for me is it doesn’t really limit my ability to do everything, but shoot a puck & handle the puck. Using some really light pucks out there right now so I’m really able to stay in shape …”
David Schoen: Vegas Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant didn’t have an update on goaltender Malcolm Subban and his lower-body injury.
Gallant said they are “hoping” to have forward Alex Tuch and defenseman Nate Schmidt back soon.
