On the Anaheim Ducks …

Emily Sadler of Sportsnet: Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler suffered a knee injury on Friday. Nick Kypreos gives an update.

“still waiting to see whether or not he could avoid surgery.”

“You look at how this team has been hit by the injury bug, to see this guy go down the other night makes a lot of us cringe,” Kypreos said. “At the very least, they’re talking about maybe four to six weeks.”

On the Calgary Flames …

Ryan Pike: The Flames have put winger Jaromir Jagr on the IR and will likely recall someone today.

On the Colorado Avalanche …

Colorado Avalanche: The Avs put Tyson Jost and JT Compher on the IR.

Adrian Dater: Hearing the Compher could be out for two to three weeks.

Colorado Avalanche: The Avs recall AJ Green and Gabriel Bourque from the AHL.

On the Minnesota Wild …

Minnesota Wild: The Wild assign Luke Kunin, Zack Mitchell and Cal O’Reilly to the AHL.

Vancouver Canucks …

Vancouver Canucks: Not much of an update on Troy Stecher, coach Travis Green: “It was a knee-on-knee hit, so we’ll see what happens.”

On the Vegas Golden Knights …

Vegas Golden Knights: The Golden Knights have put goaltender Malcolm Subban on the IR with a lower-body injury. He is expected to be out for about four weeks.

“Injuries provide opportunities for others and that is the situation we have here,” said General Manager George McPhee. “Our top two goaltenders are currently sidelined so we will now give our AHL goalies the chance to play in their absence. We felt Oscar Dansk performed well in relief on Saturday in his NHL debut.”

John Shannon: Subban only needs rest and rehab, no surgery is required.

John Shannon: Have been told it is a groin pull.

Vegas Golden Knights: The Golden Knights recall goaltender Maxime Lagace from the AHL.
