On the Montreal Canadiens …

Eric Engels: Defenseman David Schlemko had hand surgery and will be out for three to four more weeks.

On the Anaheim Ducks …

Anaheim Ducks: The Ducks have assigned winger Nic Kerdiles to San Diego of the AHL.

On the Arizona Coyotes …

Sarah McLellan: Coach Rick Tocchet said that Brendan Perlini is close to returning to the lineup. He’s on the IR with an upper-body injury.

Craig Morgan: Perlini likely isn’t ready to return tonight, but he is skating and is close to getting back. If Brad Richardson can go will be determined after their morning skate.

On the Minnesota Wild …

Michael Russo of The Athletic: Mikael Granlund and Marcus Foligno are expected to practice today. They could both travel with the team on their road trip that starts on Friday.

Foligno is expected to play with a cage on. It’s uncertain at this time if Granlund will be able to go.

The Wild recalled Luke Kunin, Landon Ferraro, and Zack Mitchell yesterday.

The Wild are also without Charlie Coyle, Nino Niederreiter, and Zach Parise. An update on Parise should come today. He saw doctors yesterday.

On the St. Louis Blues …

Dan Rosen: The Blues activated Alexander Steen from the IR.

On Keith Aulie …

Dhiren Mahiban: Chicago of the AHL has signed defenseman Keith Aulie to a PTO.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Jon Rosen of the LA Kings Insider: Forward Jeff Carter left last night’s game with a lower-body injury.

“Once we get a further evaluation tomorrow, I think Blakey will probably inform the media of what we’re dealing with and move on from there,” Stevens said when asked about the injury after the game.”

The Kings are also without Kyle Clifford.
