On the Detroit Red Wings …

Ansar Khan of MLive: Red Wings defenseman Danny DeKeyser suffered a setback and is now another ten days to three weeks away from returning according to coach Jeff Blashill. DeKeyser sprained his ankle on October 10th. He’ll be off the ice for the next week.

“As he was progressing, as we ramped up to more live battle level, all the sudden it started to hurt him more, so we re-evaluated today and docs want to hold him out a week and then see where it’s at,” Blashill said.

On the Montreal Canadiens …

Renaud Lavoie: Forward Nikita Scherbak will be out for six weeks with a right knee injury.

On the New Jersey Devils …

Chris Ryan: Forwards Marcus Johansson and Brian Boyle practiced yesterday. Kyle Palmieri didn’t practice.

Andrew Gross: Palmieri has a left foot injury and hasn’t skated since he got hurt on October 19th. He’s been doing off ice workouts.

Andrew Gross: Forward Marcus Johansson missed Saturday’s game with a lower-body injury but didn’t look restricted during yesterday’s practice.

On the Ottawa Senators …

Bruce Garrioch: The Senators recalled Max McCormick from the AHL.

On the Philadelphia Flyers …

Greg Paone: Defenseman Sam Morin couldn’t go last night because of a nagging injury.

Philadelphia Flyers: Flyers GM Ron Hextall said that Shayne Gostisbehere and Nolan Patrick are day-to-day.

On the Pittsburgh Penguins …

Jason Mackey: The Penguins have recalled goaltender Tristan Jarry and returned Casey DeSmith.
