Ansar Khan of MLive: Red Wings defenseman Danny DeKeyser suffered a setback and is now another ten days to three weeks away from returning according to coach Jeff Blashill. DeKeyser sprained his ankle on October 10th. He’ll be off the ice for the next week.
“As he was progressing, as we ramped up to more live battle level, all the sudden it started to hurt him more, so we re-evaluated today and docs want to hold him out a week and then see where it’s at,” Blashill said.
