On the Anaheim Ducks …

Chris Johnston: The Ducks put Korbinian Holzer on regular waivers, not the buyout/termination type of waivers.

On the Carolina Hurricanes …

Renaud Lavoie: The Hurricanes re-sign Phil Di Giuseppe to a one-year, one-way contract at $750,000.

Michael Smith: The Hurricanes send qualifying offers to Trevor van Riemsdyk, Greg McKegg, Lucas Wallmark and Valentin Zykov.

On the Chicago Blackhawks …

Charlie Roumeliotis: Coach Joel Quenneville on Corey Crawford: “We’re making progress with him. There’s lots of time between now and camp. He feels he wasn’t that far away last year from coming back.”

On the Columbus Blue Jackets …

Aaron Portzline: The Blue Jackets sent qualifying offers to RFAs Oliver Bjorkstrand, Boone Jenner, and Ryan Murray. The Blue Jackets didn’t qualify Ryan Kujawinski.

On the Dallas Stars …

Sean Shapiro: The Stars sent qualifying offers to Philippe Desrosiers, Jason Dickinson, Remi Elie, Dillon Heatherington, Mattias Janmark, Devin Shore, and Gemel Smith. They didn’t qualify Cole Ully.

On the Minnesota Wild …

Sarah McLellan of the Star Tribune: The Wild signed Ryan Murphy to a one-year, two-way deal with a $650,000 NHL salary and $275,000 in the AHL.

Not getting qualifying offers from the Wild were Adam Vay, Adam Gilmour, Steve Michalek and Dylan Labbe.

On the Montreal Canadiens …

On the New York Islanders …

Arthur Staple: The New York Islanders didn’t qualify Alan Quine and Shane Prince.

On the New York Rangers …

Colin Stephenson: Rangers 2018 1st round pick K’Andre Miller will definitely be attending Wisconsin next season. Nils Lundkvist will be heading back to Sweden. If Vitali Kravtsov is in training camp would depend on whether he buys out the last year of his KHL deal.

On the Pittsburgh Penguins …

Josh Getzoff: The Penguins sign forwards Dominik Simon and Daniel Sprong to two-year contracts with a cap hit of $750,000.

Sam Werner: Simon and Sprong deals are one-way deals.
