Pat Steinberg: Defenseman Travis Hamonic left last night’s game early with an upper-body injury. The Flames had recalled Spencer Foo earlier in the day and are now out of recalls.

Pat Steinberg: Coach Glen Gulutzan on Hamonic: “He’s going to be out for a bit.”

On the Colorado Avalanche …

BSN Avalanche: The Avs have signed Josh Anderson and Travis Barron to entry-level contracts.

Colorado Avalanche: The Avs reassigned goaltender Spencer Martin to the AHL.

On the Dallas Stars …

Mike Heika: Defenseman Stephen Johns left last night’s game with an upper-body injury.

On the Los Angeles Kings …

Bob McKenzie: Daniel Brickley signs a two-year entry-level contract with the LA Kings. By signing the deal he burns the first year of the contract and doesn’t need to play a game, and he may not with the Kings this year. He will stay with the team this week.

LA Kings: The Kings have signed forward Mikey Eyssimont to a two-year entry-level contract.

On the Nashville Predators …

Adam Vingan: At the end of the regular season, GM David Poile said they would have an update on forward Calle Jarnkrok‘s status. Forward Austin Watson could return this weekend.
