On the St. Louis Blues …
Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch: Forward Robby Fabbri re-aggravated his surgically repaired left knee and will be lost for the season. The Blues wouldn’t comment any further yet.
A source is saying that Fabbri will require additional surgery. He initially suffered the injury last February 4th, with surgery on February 28th.
Zach Sanford had surgery on his dislocated left shoulder on Tuesday and will be out for five to six months.
Both Jay Bouwmeester and Alexander Steen will be re-evaluated about a week into the regular season.
Patrik Berglund will be out until December with a shoulder injury.
Paul Stastny will be their first line center, Brayden Schenn on the second line and Kyle Brodziak centering the fourth line. Oskar Sundqvist and Ivan Barbashev are the leading candidates to center the third line.
