John Shannon: The Buffalo Sabres have signed forward Sam Reinhart to a two-year bridge deal with a $3.65 million salary cap hit. He’ll get $3.55 million this year and $3.75 million next year.

NHL Player Safety: Montreal Canadiens forward Max Domi will have a hearing today for his roughing/punch to Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad.
Jameson Olive: Ekblad was forced to go into concussion testing and he passed.
