It’s believed that Lightning GM Steve Yzerman will trade Drouin at the draft, and there will be lots of interest. It is believed that the Canadiens, Senators and Wild talked to the Lightning, but were unable to find a fit. The asking price for the Senators was Cody Ceci. The asking price for the Wild was Matt Dumba.
One executive was surprised the Canucks didn’t trade Dan Hamhuis at the deadline. The Capitals, Bruins, Blackhawks and Stars showed interest in Hamhuis.
