On the New York Rangers and Ryan McDonagh …
Told there is a lot of activity on Ryan McDonagh. Obviously no guarantee, and Rangers could wait til the wire or stretch til Draft, but my understanding is McDonagh is basically in waiting mode.

Per @RealKyper, PIT has inquired on Ryan McDonagh

The Leafs have also inquired on McDonagh in recent days. The asking price may simply be too high.

On the Ottawa Senators …
Sens still talking to teams about Karlsson. Unless something changes, unlikely Hoffman or Smith go. Offers aren’t good enough.
— Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) February 26, 2018
Moving Karlsson and dumping Ryan’s contract much easier at the draft. Teams more likely to give NHL assets. But the acquiring team will also want a contract extension. This gets the agent involved and could cut down suitors. #Spezza

On the Buffalo Sabres …
Hearing list of teams looking at EKane is now up to 5…tick,tick,tick.

On the Montreal Canadiens …
Can confirm Interest from Anaheim and Florida on Canadiens’ Captain Max Pacioretty.

On the Detroit Red Wings …
My understanding is Mike Green has not formally submitted a list of team’s he’d waive NTC to. Handling it on a case-by-case basis. Likely goes down to wire if he’s moved.

On the Minnesota Wild …
Wild sitting on a couple offers for defenseman Mike Reilly but nothing done there yet. No guarantee he’s moved.
— Craig Custance (@CraigCustance) February 26, 2018
#mnwild have a couple offers for defenseman Mikey Reilly, but they’re still getting inquiries on him
With Nick Seeler playing so well and Jonas Brodin close to return, I’d be surprised if Reilly isn’t moved.
It would also free up space for eventually Kunin and signing Greenway

I’m hearing Minnesota has no plans to move Matt Cullen today. They’re rolling and he’s playing well, centering the third line. They need him.
