ESPN Stats & Info: “The Penguins advance to the Stanley Cup Final! It’s their 4th trip to the Stanley Cup Final in the Sidney Crosby era (since 2005-06).”

StatsCentre: “Penguins: 4th team since 1998-99 to reach SCF after winning it a year before. All 3 of those other teams lost (2000 DAL, 2001 NJ, 2009 DET)”

Chris Johnston: “Mario Lemieux picked up the Prince of Wales Trophy in 1991 and 1992. Sidney Crosby did it in 2009, 2016 and 2017.”
