NHL Rumors V: Yandle, Bishop, Blackhawks, Sharks, Ducks, Ribeiro, Goligoski, Blue Jackets, Chimera and Whitney

From twitter unless otherwise noted

  • Pierre LeBrun: The Flyers are interested in Coyotes Keith Yandle, but doubtful it could get done today. Coyotes are not looking to move him.
  • Pierre LeBrun: The Senators are asking for a 2nd round pick and a player/prospect for goalie Ben Bishop. Dustin Leed: Confirms that the Flyers have held talks with the Senators about Bishop over the past two weeks.
  • Pierre LeBrun: The Blackhawks won’t be aggressive today. They may not want to mess with team chemistry. Could still do something.
  • Brian Lawton: Sharks may be willing to move draft picks for a gritty bottom 6 forward. The Blackhawks could move a quality prospect for a No. 4 defenseman.
  • Mark Spector:  The Blackhawks and Ducks could use some depth at center.
  • Renaud Lavoie: Even without a contract extension, Lavoie would be shocked if Mike Ribeiro is traded.
  • Bob McKenzie: The Stars are not shopping defenseman Alex Goligoski but teams are calling. Would have to be a good offer.
  • Aaron Portzline: If the Blue Jackets don’t trade one of the first rounders, they could still do so at the draft.
  • Dan Tencer: Would be a surprise if the Oilers traded Ryan Whitney unless they are able to get a similar player back or in a separate deal.
