- Arthur Staple: The New York Islanders acquired the rights to pending unrestricted free agent Dan Boyle for a conditional 2015 5th round pick. If Boyle signs with the Islanders, the Sharks will receive a 2015 4th round pick.

The 37-year old defenseman is coming a deal in which he had a $6,666,667 salary cap hit.
