  • Bob McKenzie vai twitter: Doesn’t think there is a chance in the world that the Maple Leafs put a claim in on Nikolai Zherdev.
  • Scott Burnside via twitter: Burnside thinks the Thrashers may consider Zherdev.
  • Jeremy Rutherford of the St. Louis Post Dispatch: Jaroslav Halak traveled with the Blues but is unlikely to start tonight. He could go tomorrow or Sunday.
  • Eric Stephens of the OC Register: Ducks goalie Jonas Hiller was told by doctors that he has ‘vertigo’ but the clause is not known. Hiller hasn’t been on the ice since Feb. 15th.
  • Rob Rossi of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: There is a chance that the Penguins will get center Mark Letestu back this weekend. He’s been cleared to play after having surgery to repair torn meniscus. “I don’t think this weekend is out of the question,” he said of a comeback. “(By) next week, I don’t doubt it. That’s a modest goal.” A rookie, Letestu has scored 10 goals for the Penguins.
  • Michael Russo via twitter: Guillaume Latendresse is a couple weeks away from returning to the Wild’s lineup.
