  • Ben Kuzma via twitter: Canucks Jason Garrison, who has been bothered by a groin injury, on playing if the season starts on November 2nd, “That’s what I’m planning for. I’m using this time to make sure it doesn’t come back.”
  • Mike Halford of Pro Hockey Talk: Islanders prospect Calvin de Haan suffered a shoulder injury that will end his season. de Haan was playing for the Bridgeport of the AHL. It is his 3rd shoulder injury in the last 3 years.
