No compliance buyouts for the Penguins, Blue Jackets, Devils and Kings
  • Rob Rossi: The Penguins have no plans on trading James Neal or using a compliance buyout on anyone.
  • Aaron Portzline: Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen confirms that they won’t use any of their compliance buyouts.
  • Rich Chere: Devils defenseman Lou Lamoriello said he’s “not contemplating” any buyouts at this point. Lamoriello: “I would tell a player if we were going to buy him out and I have not told any players that we intend to do so.”
  • Dennis Bernstein: Kings GM Dean Lombardi has stated on record that they have no bad contracts. Therefore any buyouts are unlikely.
