Northeast Division Player Movement

Mark Easson 09/22/2009

The Northeast Division was probably the most talked about division this off-season. The Phil Kessel and Dany Heatley rumors and stories dragged on for months, and thankfully both have been resolved. The Canadiens have completely revamped their roster, for the better, we’re not sure yet. Buffalo didn’t do much. The Leafs have improved with the additions of Kessel, Komisarek, and Beauchemin. Ottawa added Kovalev, Cheechoo and Michalek but lost 40-50 goal man Heatley. Boston will need some players to step up to fill the 36 goal loss in Kessel
