The Nashville Predators have traded Brian McGrattan for to the Calgary Flames for defenseman Joe Piskula.
The 31-year old McGrattan was drafted by the Kings, 104th overall in the fourth round of the 1999 draft. The 6′ 4″, 230 lbs winger has amassed 456 penalty minutes in 214 NHL games. In 262 AHL games, he’s collected 1,210 penalty minutes. It will be his second tour in Calgary.
The 28-year old Piskula has only appeared 10 NHL games. The 6′ 3″, 215 lbs defenseman was not drafted.
