- Tim Sassone: Marian Hossa’s may have a hip problem from a Zdeno Chara cross check earlier in the series. Adam Jahns: Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said that Hossa is “likely” to play tonight.

- Tom Gulitti: Multiple sources saying that Oren Koules, former Lightning owner, is not involved with any investing/buying of the New Jersey Devils.
- David Pagnotta: As mentioned last August, there is going to be a shift if Devils ownership. The Devils aren’t going anywhere, it is not an option. A new group will come in at some point.
- Las Vegas Sun: MGM and AEG have made a deal to build a 20,000 seat arena on the Las Vegas Strip. The $350 million arena is to get away next summer and completed by spring of 2016.
