Injury Updates on the Bruins, Stars, Oilers, and Maple Leafs
Boston Bruins: Coach Bruce Cassidy said that forward Noel Acciari is day-to-day and his next target date is Game 2 on Sunday.
Sean Shapiro: Dallas Stars forward Roope Hintz played in Game 7 with a broken foot.
Mattias Janmark broke his foot back in February/March and it kept getting re-aggravated.
Mats Zuccarello‘s broken arm was healed but was having issues with his tendons. He was getting injections before the start of each game.
Sean Shapiro: Stars defenseman Jamie Oleksiak injured his knee in Game 6.
Forward Martin Hanzal will visit doctors to see if his injury is career ending.
There was no update on Stephen Johns situation.
Edmonton Oilers: Forward Kailer Yamamoto will be out for the remainder of the AHL season after having wrist surgery. His rehab will start immediately and he’ll be ready for the start of training camp.
Leafs PR: The Toronto Maple Leafs announced that defenseman Travis Dermott will have surgery on his shoulder and he’ll be out for at least six months.
Kristen Shilton: Since the end of the season … forward Zach Hyman had ACL surgery and will be out for six months.
Forward Auston Matthews had minor surgery.
Forward John Tavares just left the World Championships after injuring his oblique.

Zito interviewing in Seattle
Jordan Schultz: Source saying that Columbus Blue Jackets assistant GM Bill Zito was in Seattle yesterday interviewing for their GM position.
Pierre LeBrun: Sources confirm that Zito was interviewing for Seattle’s GM position. It’s not known if they will hire someone this summer or next.
Penguins sign draft pick
Pittsburgh Penguins: The Penguins have signed defenseman Niclas Almari to a three-year entry-level contract.
Assistant GM Bill Guerin on Almari: “Since we drafted Niclas he has developed exactly how we want our prospects to progress, at a steady incline.”
