On the Ottawa Senators …
Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Citizen: The Senators gave Craig Anderson yesterday another leave of absence to be with his wife who was diagnosed with cancer.
“If we look at our situation now, we don’t know when (Anderson) will be back,” said Boucher before the Senators faced the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday night.
The Senators are also not sure when Andrew Hammond will be back from injury, so they went out and acquired Mike Condon earlier this week.
Bruce Garrioch: Forward Mark Stone practiced with the Sens today. Chris Wideman wasn’t on the ice.
On the Toronto Maple Leafs …
Pierre LeBurn: Goalie Karri Ramo worked out with the Maple Leafs today. He isn’t signed or part of the team. Rehabbing an injury from last year.
Rob Longley: Leafs going with three goalies at practice.
Michael Augello: The Leafs are currently at 50 contracts, so they are not able to sign Brandon Prust or Ramo – unless it’s to a PTO.
Michael Augello: The Leafs could clear a contract out with a trade. Some teams are looking for a goaltender and Jhonas Enroth might interest someone.
Rob Longley: Brandon Prust was skating with the Maple Leafs at practice today.
On the Anaheim Ducks …
Anaheim Ducks: Mason Raymond didn’t report to San Diego of the AHL due to family reasons and has been released from his contract by the Ducks. Raymond had signed a one-year deal with the Ducks on July 5th. He played in only four games before the Ducks put him on waivers.
Defenseman Jacob Larsson will be returning to Sweden and joining is old club, Frolunda. Larsson was a 2015 1st round pick.
On the Winnipeg Jets …
Winnipeg Jets: The Jets put defenseman Tyler Myers on the IR and recalled forward Nic Petan.
On the Colorado Avalanche …
Pierre LeBrun: The Avalanche put forward John Mitchell on waivers.

Curtis Zupke: The Kings recalled defenseman Kevin Gravel yesterday.
