- Chicago Blackhawks: Blackhawks assign to the AHL: Forwards: Mark McNeill, Garret Ross and Alex Broadhurst. Defensemen: Dylan Olsen, Klas Dahlbeck and Adam Clendening. Goalie: Kent Simpson. Teuvo Teravainen heads back to Finland and Ryan Hartman is returned to junior. Viktor Svedberg was released. The Blackhawks now have 36 players in camp: 23 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goalies.
- Adrian Dater of Sulia: The Avalanche reassign: Mark Olver (must clear waivers), Mitchell Heard, Bryan Lerg, J.T. Wyman, Andrew Agozzino, Colin Smith and Garrett Meurs.
- David Pollak: Sharks defensemen Rob Davison and Adam Comrie cleared waivers and will report to Worcester of the AHL.
- Dallas Morning News: The Stars assigned Jack Campbell to the AHL.
- Michael Russo: The Wild will cut about 20 players today.
