Red Wings are hoping Athanasiou can live up to his potential
Ansar Khan of MLive: The Detroit Red Wings have Andreas Athanasiou under contract for two seasons at $3 million per. He’s been inconsistent and has had his name in the rumor mill.

The Red Wings are hoping that hoping that Athanasiou can play up to his potential this season.
Athanasiou could see some time at center this year if Henrik Zetterberg is placed on the LTIR.
