  • Aaron Portzline via twitter: The Flyers are “most definitely on Rick Nash’s trade approval list. Portzline doesn’t pretend to know exact list, but the Flyers are on it. Doesn’t know if Flyers are still in on Nash talks. The Flyers trading James van Riemsdyk to the Maple Leafs creates a hurdle but not a brick wall.
  • Brian Wilde via twitter: Jaromir Jagr said he’d love to play for the Canadiens, and they offered him $3 million, but he’s going to wait for the big guys to sign. Darren Dreger via twitter: As many as 12 teams are interested in Jagr, including the Canadiens.
  • Dmitry Chesnokov via twitter: SovSport is reporting that Ruslan Fedotenko is negotiating with the Ukrainian Donbass of the KHL. Chesnokov was told there is no truth to the Fedotenko reports. He has received an offer from the KHL but only has interest in playing in the NHL.
  • Pierre LeBrun via twitter: LeBrun thinks that at least 1 team offer a Martin Brodeur a 2 year deal, and the Devils were forced to act. Tom Gulitti via twitter: Brodeur said that all offers he received were for 2 years and that he wouldn’t have left the Devils for a 1 year deal.
  • Joe Haggerty via twitter: Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli had the green light for adding free agents yesterday, but didn’t feel a big move was necessary.
  • BD Gallof via twitter: Gallof guesses the Islanders trade chips for any big deals could include their 2013 first round pick, Grabner, Donovan or de Hann, Nino or Strome, Nielsen or Bailey.
  • Kevin McGran via twitter: With Joey Crabb signing with the Capitals, Brian Burke said he expects Jerry D’Amigo to fight for that roster spot.
