Coach Ted Nolan said that Grigorenko will return to the Sabres after his conditioning stint. Ryan Pyette: The London Knights assistant GM drove to Buffalo to pick up Zadorov. David Pagnotta: Source saying the NHL wouldn’t approve Grigorenko’s AHL conditioning stint and he will have to head back to Buffalo.
- John Vogl: “Nothing as of now” said a source close to Sabres Patrick Kaleta. Multiple Sabres veterans said the kids tried hard but were not NHL ready.
- Bob McKenzie: The Sabres have been granted permission to speak with Bruins assistant GM Jim Benning.
