- Ryan Parker and Nick Groke of the Denver Post: Avalanche goalie Semyon Varlamov turned himself in to the police around 6:00 pm last night and his being held on second-degree kidnapping and third-degree assault. The kidnapping charge is punishable by two to six years in prison. It is a Class 4 felony and is “taking someone and moving them to another place without their consent.” The assault charge is a misdemeanor. Varlamov spent the night in a cell by himself.
