- Ansar Khan of MLive: Dennis Wideman could be a possible target for the Red Wings this offseason as they are looking to add a top pair of puck moving defenseman. Ryan Suter will be their primary target, but Wideman could be next. He’s a right hand shot that could be partnered with Nicklas Kronwall. It might take a long term deal at $4.5 to $5 million a season to get him.
