Steve Zipay via twitter: According to Brad Richards agent, they haven’t spoken to the Stars about a new contract. Mark Spector via twitter: From Nieuwendyk, “It’s always been my intention to re-sign Brad Richards. This sends a message …we’re doing everything possible to win games.”
  • Pierre LeBrun via twitter: Jamie Langenbrunner will play on the 3rd line with Steve Ott and Adam Burrish. Nieuwendyk said there is a possibility that they re-sign Langenbrunner.
