The Montreal Canadiens and P.K. Subban have agreed on a 2 year contract.
- Louis Jean via twitter: Subban will earn $2 million this year and $3.75 million next year. ($2.875 million salary cap hit)
- Corey Pronman via twitter: “So MTL gets their number, NHL & GMs likely happy 2nd deals may be reasonable (for now), but we’ll see if things are any better in 2 years.”
- L.A. Lariviere via twitter: “PK could’ve gotten more money elsewhere, but this really means he wanted to stay in Montreal.”
Do you think it was good deal for the Canadiens? For Subban? Wondering why a deal took so long to get done?
