  1. Marian Hossa 30 DET: Superstar. Despite poor playoff showing.
  2. Daniel Sedin 28 VAN: Sensational Winger.
  3. Jay Bouwmeester 25 CAL: Potential for Greatness.
  4. Marian Gaborik 27 MIN: Learned some D in Minn.
  5. Martin Havlat 28 CHI: Can he stay healthy?
  6. Henrik Sedin 28 VAN: Very underrated Centerman.
  7. Mike Cammalleri 27 CGY: Small and adverse to D, but sure can score.
  8. Mattias Ohlund 32 VAN: Steady veteran that could be the difference.
  9. Derek Morris 30 PHO: Strong player, could help any team.
  10. Mikael Samuelsson 32 DET: Should improve and see more PP time on another team.
  11. Brian Gionta 30 NJ: Solid #2 Center, Great #3 Center on top team.
  12. Kurtis Foster 27 MIN: I look for him to bounce back in a big way.
  13. Maxim Afinogenov 29 BUF: Potential for greatness is slipping with every new injury.
  14. Michael Komisarek 27 MON: Tough kid who will continue to improve.
  15. Johnny Oduya 27 NJ: Should be a VERY popular Defeceman. Could be a steal.
  16. Alex Tanguay 29 MON: PPG when healthy.
  17. Alexei Kovalev 36 MON: Could be the difference on a one year deal.
  18. Jason Williams 28 CLB: Has played very well when healthy.
  19. Nik Antropov 29 NYR: Grown into excellent 3rd line Center. JT is right coach for him.
  20. Mike Knuble 36 PHI: Love this guy on a one year deal.
  21. Nikolai Khabibulin 36: CHI Proved he can still bring it, and might get a two year deal.
  22. Samuel Pahlsson 31: CHI Top notch role player.
  23. Manny Fernandez 34 BOS: Has “Comeback Player of the Year” written all over him.
  24. Mike Comrie 28 OTT: Safe to assume he’ll be known for dating celeb’s, rather than being a hockey star.
  25. Chris Neil 30 OTT: Love the way this guy plays.
  26. Mats Sundin 38 VAN: If he commits this summer; could be a great one year pick up.
  27. Erik Cole 30 CAR: Scary injury history, but great character guy.
  28. Francois Beauchemin 29 ANA: Dependable and due for a big raise.
  29. Dmitri Kalinin 28 NYR: Good Size and plays well in the right system. A number of teams could use him.
  30. Marc-Andre Bergeron 28 MIN: Small but very skilled and has been under the radar for sometime.
  31. Paul Mara 29 NYR: Overrated in my book, but will get paid based on past offensive performance.
  32. Christian Backman 29 CLB: Good size and still has a chance to be a regular. Worth taking a shot.
  33. Jordan Leopold 28 FLA: Would fit in well behind, Ballard, Boynton, McCabe and Allen.
  34. Dennis Seidenberg 27 CAR: Young and coming off a break out offensive season.
  35. Steve Montador 29 BOS: Grown into an excellent depth defenceman on a good team.
  36. Martin Biron 31 PHI: Young enough, but who takes a chance on him?
  37. David Koci 28 TAM: If you are desperate for a toughguy, you could do worse.
  38. Ian Laperriere 35 COL: On a 1 year deal, he brings great character.
  39. Colton Orr 27 NYR: Tough guy, will protect your young star.
  40. Ales Kotalik 30 EDM: Worth taking a chance on.
