Western Conference Injury Updates

Eric Stephens: Anaheim Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm missed last night’s game.

Coach Dallas Eakins is hopeful that he’ll be able to return later this week or by the end of their homestand.

Lindholm said that he hoping to be ready by Friday’s game.

Elliotte Friedman: Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury.

Ryan S. Clark: Avs coach Jared Bednar when asked if Landeskog injury is week-to-week or more on the four to six weeks side of things.

“I would say he’s longer than week to week.”

Brooks Bratten: Nashville Predators forward Matt Duchene returned to the lineup last night.

St. Louis Blues: GM Doug Armstrong said that Vladimir Tarasenko‘s shoulder surgery was performed yesterday morning. He is ‘resting comfortably.’ No change in the timetable – re-evaluation in five months.

Jeremy Rutherford: Armstrong on if Tarasenko’s shoulder had been a concern for them heading into this season.

“We talked about the injury. The best course of action was believed to be the one we took. He had surgery on (his knee). This one was not necessary. He performed well last year in the playoffs. It’s hockey, injuries happen.”

Ken Wiebe: Winnipeg Jets forward Patrik Laine missed last night’s game and is day-to-day with a lower-body injury.
