Western Conference Injury Updates

Eric Stephens: Anaheim Ducks forward Ondrej Kase returned from the jaw injury after missing the past five games.

Richard Morin: Arizona Coyotes defenseman Jordan Oesterle is day-to-day in an upper-body injury.

Sean Shapiro: Dallas Stars defenseman John Klingberg will be out for two weeks.

  • Sean Shapiro: Klingberg has a lower-body injury, which occurred on a play where he took a shot up high.

Mike Heika: Stars forward Roope Hintz is out with a lower-body injury.

Randy Johnson of the Star-Tribune: Minnesota Wild forward Mats Zuccarello has a maintenance day yesterday. Coach Bruce Boudreau said he should be good to go tonight.

Defenseman Greg Pateryn didn’t travel with the team on their road trip. He had core muscle surgery at the beginning of October and has been out since training camp.

Curtis Pashelka: San Jose Sharks defenseman Radim Simek returned to the lineup last night.

Forward Melker Karlsson was out with an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day.

TSN: Vancouver Canucks defenseman Quinn Hughes returned to the lineup last night: “Green light, I’m good to go…”

Mitchell Clinton: Winnipeg Jets defenseman Nathan Beaulieu returned to the lineup last night.

Defenseman Tucker Poolman was undergoing more tests yesterday and there was no updates.

Scott Billeck: Jets forward Bryan Little took a Nikolaj Ehlers one-timer to the side of the head.

  • Scott Billeck: Little was bleeding all over the ice and needed help from the trainer and Ehlers to get off the ice.
  • Scott Billeck: Jets coach Paul Maurice didn’t have an update on Little after the game. He was bleeding from the ear.
